Oddpost
I can't say I'm really thrilled about Oddpost's annouccement. I've been a subscriber for nearly 2 years, abandoning Yahoo! Mail as my primary email account. It's great that the Oddpost guys are cashing in on their hard work. But I hear that Oddpost is going to be developing the new Yahoo! Mail, which sounds like it's feature-comparable to GMail. As an Oddpost subscriber, I'll get a free year of Yahoo! Premium email. I don't know, I've gotten very tired of Yahoo! Mail's lousy UI, lousy spam filtering, the service, and pretty much everything else about it. I guess that's the point, Yahoo! Mail stinks, and this is Yahoo!'s capitulation. I just have a suspicion that rather than Oddpost saving Yahoo!, Yahoo! is going to end up ruining Oddpost.

Archives Restored
I've finally gotten on the ball and gotten most of the archives back online after the hard disk crash. Unfortunately, comments have been lost, which is a real downer. I think that January 2004 is still MIA, I'm trying to figure out where I can recover those.
