The JVM is not really that different.
Tim Bray says: "Gilad’s style is awfully prickly, but the narrative is engaging." I'd say the same for James Robertson. It's good that Sun is listening to people like James, just as it's good that MS is (presumably) listening to people like Jim Hugnin and Ward Cunningham. Will Apple listen too?
