I saw Gus lauding the new Yahoo! Mail. Hmm, looks like Oddpost to me. The spam filter works about as well, too...which is to say, not at all, though I have no idea why Oddpost attracted so much Russian and Chinese spam to begin with - a volume I've never seen on Yahoo. Emails load s...l...o...w...l...y - Oddpost had gotten to the point of unusable, but I decided they were throwing everything behind Yahoo integration and left the old system to find its own way in the world. For multiple selection (like when deleting the 2000 spams that the spam filter doesn't identify), checkboxes work better than having to Ctrl+click on each one - that's a 2 handed operation for something I have to do pretty frequently. Oddpost was the bomb 5 years ago, but some of the shine has worn off. I may well switch back to traditional Yahoo! mail, at least until I can get all the spam being imported from my Oddpost account cleaned out.
