The Time Machine
I booted up what was at one time my main PC for the first time in about 18 months. It's really funny to look at the desktop and the browser history; all this stuff that was capturing my interest in the late summer of 2005, suddenly entombed, only to be awoken much later. This PC was a dinosaur even when it was shut down - a 1.5 GHz processor running Windows 2000. I ran Windows Update and it came up with an even 50 updates for me, no doubt limited because I wasn't running XP. Actually, it's amazing how snappy this machine is, given its advanced age.
