The Ultimate Business Whoops
I use Dex for my yellow pages out of habit - this goes back to when Qwest was the local phone company and phone book provider, and I've followed them from QwestDex to DexOnline, and now, apparently to DexKnows. I was talking to a co-worker today and he mentioned that they'd changed their name, and while we were wondering why they'd change names again, I joked that somebody must have forgot to renew their domain registration. It looks like that was no joke - dexonline.com is now a parked page full of ads, while a graphic on the dexknows.com homepage still mentions dexonline.com. I'd say that forgetting to renew your domain is pretty far up there on the scale of business screwups.
