This site was offline for about a week. It turns out that Joyent, my hosting provider, did an Apache upgrade, and the new mod_rewrite is a bit more strict about .htaccess rules. I had a Redirect rule for my RSS feeds that contained flags that are appropriate on a Rewrite but not on Redirect. Remove the flags, the site came back up.
